Joss Carter is a conjurer of bodies, shadows, and transformation—an artist who bends flesh into myth and movement into ritual. For over 20 years, he has carved a path across film, theatre, dance, and the experimental underworld of live performance, building a practice where the human form is both weapon and wound, canvas and creature, vessel and invocation.

Born in the rural silence of South Shropshire and now forged in the darkness of London’s creative underbelly, Joss works internationally as performer, director, movement-maker, and architect of original worlds. His creations merge the primal with the poetic, collapsing the boundaries of genre, medium, and identity.
