(2015)

This improvised solo performance explores the exquisite and grotesque forms of man. Through the surreal and abstract journey of the mind, body and voice Carter  performs a contemporary dance theatre and live performance art production of an intimate and personal setting in the round of a site specific environment that  distorts  masculinity and sexuality by wearing the skinned face of a pig as a head mask to obscure the physical human form and creating a controversial view on the male species.

Through this metamorphosis, twisted ideas of sexuality and authority being to emerge unleashing suppressed instincts of socially acceptable absurdity within a location that emphasises the underground and dark aspects of a shrouded personality. Roles of sadomasochism swap between performer and voyeur to consciously, subconsciously and unconsciously flirt with the boundaries of desire, dividing and multiplying tolerance thresholds and the want or need, for more or less.
