With a dose of Gollum, Carter enthusiastically plays his imp as a cockney Pennywise, an insidiously playful performance, physically small, but cunning and deceitful, Carter eats up the dialogue and chews his way through every scene.
In this character, Andy Edwards may have his own franchise icon, in the same vein as the Wishmaster series".​

Born in 1988 and raised in South Shropshire/West Midlands, Joss Carter (YOUR WORST NIGHTMARE) is now based in London.
​
Working internationally across the creative industries Carter is a multi-disciplinary and multi-dimensional creative working at the forefront of the avant-garde.
​
A specialist in the live action, creation, direction, and production of movement and performance, Joss has dedicated over 20 years to pushing the boundaries of body, identity, and transformation on stage and screen.
​
His work spans film, theatre, contemporary dance, performance art, and experimental live projects — a body of practice defined by visceral imagination, uncompromising intensity, and the ability to summon both the grotesque and the sublime through performance.
​
Joss has cultivated a dynamic professional portfolio career, moving fluidly between roles as performer, director, movement specialist, and producer.
​
His creations merge the primal with the poetic, revealing new forms of storytelling that transcend traditional categories of genre and medium.
​
Whether embodying creatures in film, directing avant-garde performance rituals, or mentoring the next generation of performers, Joss’s practice is rooted in transformation, invention, and the fearless exploration of the human shadow.
